About Dr. Washington

Dr. Washington is from Detroit, Michigan.  He earned his B.S. (1980) and D.D.S. (1984) degrees at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1984.  He practiced general dentistry for four years in Detroit with Drs. Carl and Philip Washington.

His post-graduate training was completed at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Babcock Fellow.  Dr. Washington continued his research in Immunology while teaching in the Dept. of Periodontics at UNC-Chapel Hill until 1992.  In 2000 he joined the practice of Dr. Wilson Shoulars.
