Dr. Washington was referred to me by my dentist for gum inflammation around a crown. Dr. Washington was fantastic and quickly took care of my issue. His office staff is top notch. They are very knowledgeable and great with teaching. They really went above and beyond to explain every aspect of my care. From the initial phone call to the final visit, I really felt great about this process (which is a rare find in dealing with dental care!) Best of all, I never waited more than a couple of minutes in the waiting area or in the exam rooms. They were prompt and friendly!

Dr. Otis Washington and his staff have always taken great care of me! They have put in an implant and removed wisdom teeth (all four) for me. I had great results on both! The implant was early this century. The wisdom teeth were in 2017. I was a little worried about the wisdom teeth just because I’m older but I had no problems and recovered quickly following what they directed me to do. I highly recommend them!

From the beginning of my visits over 2 years ago, Dr. Washington and his staff have been courteous and helpful. You always hear that no one wants to go to the dentist. It’s true but they make it more bearable. There are tremendous improvements with my teeth because of the care and information Dr. Washington’s office has given me. I had a tooth extracted by another periodontist and after a week and several follow ups I was still in extreme pain. My dentist referred me to Dr. Washington. He was the only provider who listened to me and offered help. I was due to go on vacation so he worked my surgery in to his schedule on a Friday. He called me that evening to see how I was doing and sending me home with chocolate ice cream was also a nice touch! I am so grateful to Dr. Washington for helping me.

Staff here are courteous and professional. My appointments have been on time and procedures were like clockwork. Dr. Washington and his team explained what was being done and answered any questions I had. When a secondary procedure was required following the initial surgery there was no additional charge. I have been a patient of Dr Washington's for years. Prior to finding Triangle Periodontics I saw other Dental providers, none who treated my ongoing gum problems. Dr. Washington performed laser surgery on my gums and I am grateful for the care plan, follow up, and the ease of dealing with staff from appointments to accounting. Many years ago my gum disease was treated by cutting the gums, cleaning and stitching them back together. Painful process, causing gum recession around the teeth. The Dental Hygienist's in Dr. Washington's office are professional, knowledgeable and Courteous. If you have periodontal concerns I highly recommend this practice.

Carolyn (office manager) is a pleasure to work with and she answered all of our questions about the procedure, billing, insurance and post-operative info. Katie was also a big help in recommending post-op treatments and made the genius recommendation to go to Cook out for a milkshake. Everyone we have been in contact with is very professional and it helped to get all of the information regarding insurance and coverage ahead of time. Long story short, I went through several periodontists before I found Dr.Washington four years ago. He’s the best! Trustworthy, patient-centered, and technically awesome. And Regina is the absolute best for cleanings. Very highly recommend.

I had an implant placed in October of 23' by my dentist. All went well until about 4 months later I went for my Healing Abutment , there was a small red dot on my gum. My dentist would not do the abutment thinking my implant was infected so she referred me to Dr Otis Washington. They took x-rays, and He examined my tooth. He Said It was not infected and that the Abutment placement would take care of the issue which was bacteria build up. He called and talked to my dentist . Explained the situation and advising her in what to do. So instead of going back to her He actually did the procedure Himself. I felt virtually NO pain, He explained the process ,was very gentle, took his time. worked well with his assistants and before I knew it , It was done !!! His assistant I think her name was Alex was so gentle and caring, and then Katie made me feel like family. Seriously!! I can not thank them enough for making this event so relaxing. Above all I thank God for sending me to Dr Washington.

Dr. Washington and his assistant Katie were awesome took the time out to explain in great detail my periodontal treatment plan . I finally feel I can move forward with a staff are concerned about my issues . I can’t forget also to mention the front desk staff she was extremely courteous and very helpful.

I had a very good experience with Ashley. She did a very good job . I received excellent services. She is knowledgeable about her job. She called me in on time and finish on time. I will recommend anyone to her for her good services.

I visit Regina for 5 years already! When she is not available i prefer to reschedule my appointment than tu use a substitute. Regina is not only a very good in her profession, but also very friendly and easy goingKudos to Regina!

I would like written instructions for preparing for the procedure and expectation post-procedure. For instance, I received the medications ahead of time, but the label directions on the antibiotic did not indicate that I should take it prior to the procedure. Additionally I did not have any directions prior to the procedure regarding dietary restrictions. With that, I could have purchased the groceries ahead of time.I was satisfied otherwise with the service at Dr. Washington's office. In particular, the dental assistant was very thorough and helpful.

I came to Triangle Periodontics with a referral pertaining to treating bone loss. The first visit/eval was pleasant. The second visit for the main treatment. I was given no instructions on how to prepare and what to expect for the treatment. Specifically, three prescriptions were supposed to be picked up and all taken about an hour before procedure and continued for the next week following. I had no idea. No one communicated that to me. Their response is that they had called in prescriptions a few days beforehand. No one from their office told me. When I asked what pharmacy they called on the prescriptions, they didn’t answer me. I was only asked what my pharmacy was, which I provided, and they stated that’s the one they called. They then assured me that they would resend the prescriptions. Fast forward three hours after I left the office, I’m at the pharmacy and the pharmacy still does not have any prescriptions for me. I had to call Dr. Washington’s office to inquire about it, which again I was told that they would look into it after they were done with a patient. 2 hours later, I finally had my prescriptions.The other aspect that I wish would have been communicated to me was that I was to start a liquid diet immediately after treatment for three days and then transition to a “mushy” diet for the next four days after that. If given notice, I could have prepared my pantry at home before the appointment.I’m just overall extremely disappointed with the lack of communication done by Dr. Washington’s staff/office.

I went to Dr. Washington in September 2020 for root/gum work referred to him by my general dentist. I was satisfied with the work for which I paid over $2000 out of pocket. I went back last week, May 25, 2021 for follow up cleaning and check up and asked repeatedly the cost which I would again pay out of pocket since although Medicare and my BCBS supplement will pay general dentist for x-ray and cleaning not periodontics. I was informed it would be $169 with my senior discount. When I arrived I was told to pay $239 which included x-rays. I informed them I was not doing x-rays as I could not pay it and would have general dentist do those. The cleaning was done, Dr. Washington came in and made a less than 5 minute exam and I left. Upon check out I then was told my bill was $232.20! When I asked why as no x-rays were done I was told it was because Dr. Washington came in and did an exam!I was in shock and could not believe they had charged me an additional $63.20 for an exam which 1) should have been included in the procedure 2) should not cost an extra amount of such an astronomical amount and 3) I should have been told that when I called and asked numerous timesBEFORE I made the appointment or at the check in process.This procedure is very unfair to patients and I feel it should be made known to those patients who are not prepared to pay this cost and are surprised as was I at the check out process when I had gone over and above my part in explaining how much I could pay BEFORE I went in to their office.

Here is my experience which I hope will be helpful to others. The big takeaway is ask for treatment plan and insurance coverage even before your first visit here.I was referred here by my regular dentist office to check on a gum bleeding problem which they found during my routine cleaning.The purpose of the visit here was to check on the bleeding and get a treatment plan and estimate $. My regular dentist already sent the detailed report and x-ray of evaluation they did in advance to Dr. Washington's office.During my visit to Dr. Washington's office they again did the SAME dental evaluation (which was done 2 weeks back by my routine dentist) and did not even let me know that my Insurance covers only 2 such evaluations a year. I believe that repeating the same test is completely unnecessary for a patient who is referred here for a specific issue. Plus the evaluation did not find any issue other than bleeding in gum below one tooth as found originally by my dentist.I called them to ask for an explanation on why the same the dental evaluation was done again, the answer was "this is our standard procedure". It might be a routine procedure for a new first time patient, but in my case I was referred here with all the details and x-ray about the problem. A new and latest x-ray of the tooth/gum with bleeding I think is completely reasonable, but the evaluating my whole mouth/teeth set for a problem in one gum I think is very unfair to do without letting the patient know and considering their Insurance coverage etc.One other interesting thing they told me during the discussion is "it's your insurance, you should be aware of the coverage". How do I know what service is provided to me unless you tell me in advance??? I believe your "Standard procedure" should be to inform the patient and estimate the work before actually doing it.Anyway, I walked out of here with surprise $$$ payment and my insurance will not cover bulk of it. Having said that the hygienist who helped and the other staff were very nice. I did not get the same vibe from the Doctor unfortunately. I think afternoon/evenings are not ideal for dental visits.Anyway, I decided not to go back for further treatment here. Complete waste of time and $$$.

Had an apt @ 3pm.Prior to my visit, they collected ALL necessary information.I was taken into the room and the Dental Hygienist spent 30 minutes entering (What they had for days) the data into my chart.At 4 pm I had not even seen a Dentist.I WALKED OUT!
